Summary/Abstract: According to Bulgarian contractual law, the subject of negotiorum gestio can only be lawful actions and not unlawful or immoral ones. The manager is entitled to perform actions of both le- gal and factual nature, which can be either mana- gerial or dispositive ones. Actually, the Manager may assume and complete the task in person, or assign it to a third party through direct or "indi- rect" agency. In the first case he1she is allowed to carry out formal transactions, while in the second case he1she is not allowed to do so inasmuch as his1her acts are not approved by the dominus negotii. The very performance of the task can consist of either single acts or actions of long- term performance. The issue of negotiorum gestio through omission is debatable.
