The Century of Missing Fathers And Its Impacts, Or The Role Of Father In (post)divorce Family Arrangement

Summary/Abstract: At present, several generations of children are growing up who have not experienced the father's daily presence in their childhood. His absence could have been and can be caused by various causes. However, there is asymmetry in educational activity, which has noticeable impacts both in childhood and during adolescence and adult life. In the paper we want to outline the issue of absent fathers. The stimulus is cases of counseling practice with (post) divorce issues. We consider it beneficial to pay attention not only to the statement and description of the condition, but also to the education of parents - mothers and fathers - to fulfill their child's interest. The aim is for children to be equipped with courage, responsibility, autonomy, life skills and an optimistic perspective for family formation and childcare.
