Summary/Abstract: The inventory of the Vilnius Dominican library from the first half of the 17th century records 506 publishing items. These include prints published in the 15th, 16th and a small number from the 17th century. They were printed mainly by foreign publishing houses: Italian, French, German, Dutch and Swiss. In terms of content, they represent all areas of human knowledge at the time, and their number in individual sections reflects the demand of the Dominicans of Vilnius for specific literature that allowed them to properly fulfil their tasks towards their own congregation, monastery and external environment.
