Summary/Abstract: The present text proposes a new way of interpretation of Pascal’s Pensées (Thoughts) from the perspective of the Christianity, as the only fundamental change of paradigm that can intervene in a person’s life. The analysis begins with section II of the volume, which, although it contains pessimistic passages, sometimes finalized in tragic notes, it conceals a profound Christian attitude that finds its expression only in the following section. Only when seen as such, Pascal’s work reveals its dimension as an honest apology of the Christianity, seen as a transfiguration that transcends even death.
