From an utopian vision to the Czech reality; various aspects concerning the unconditional basic income

Summary/Abstract: The article forms a contribution to the ongoing discussion on the issue of the unconditional basic income. It addresses several aspects of the topic (for example, demographic, economic/financial, ethical and political issues) and attempts to determine the viability of the current concept. Most of the author’s arguments are sceptical about the potential for the introduction of the unconditional basic income.
