Summary/Abstract: The book Homelessness among Older Adults in Prague provides empirical knowledge on the lives of middle-aged persons who have lost their homes and are forced to live on the streets. The book attempts to cover a wide range of topics related to the issue of homelessness through statements provided by those directly affected. However, the authors have made a range of errors in their endeavours at the theoretical, methodological and ethical levels. As a result, the publication can be described as both controversial and a somewhat disrespectful basis for scientific research.
