Summary/Abstract: A peculiar curiosity of the form of this vasiyetname from 1922 is the fact that, although the form of the vasiyetname created in Islamic Shareholders' Printing Press was printed in Arabic, the data of the last will (testament) of Teufik Šehović from Visoko were entered manually and written in the Ottoman Turkish language. Another curiosity is the fact that this form with the offered sections served the testator Šehović only as a document for writing a will with new content. This is supported by the fact that the sections in the vasiyetname form provided for data entry are mostly blank, while on the other hand, the testator adds a new list of sections at his own discretion.Due to the fact that this is the only known vasiyetname of this kind preserved in Visoko, its significance is even greater if we take into account that the content of the vasiyetname offers an original source about an individual, who by direct will, makes donations to several mosques and maktabs contributing greatly to the local religious community, which is new data for studying the religious segment of the cultural history of Visoko between the two world wars.A special feature of the form are also lesser-known words, mostly Turkisms, which mainly refer to the religious life and customs of Muslims, characteristic of the period of the form print, representing a very useful material for a special linguistic study. The paper also gives a brief overview of the socio-economic position of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the context of content from the vasiyetname, so that additional research of this source at the local level could provide interesting information on this topic. The practice of drawing up a will (vasiyetname) is almost forgotten in our country today and is limited to rare examples. We hope that this paper will intrigue readers in order to at least partially revive the once widespread phenomenon of writing out wills (vasiyetname).
