Summary/Abstract: This study deals with some theoretical and anthropological aspects which are involved in the study of continuing education. This kind of approach is important in adult education, both in terms of social development and personal growth. Adults have many responsibilities so that they must balance against their demands and learning. Adult learners are self directed; they have control over their learning experience and they are 100% responsible for their own learning. They are also deeply involved not only in planning, but also in evaluating their learning, as they know what knowledge they want to acquire.
