Summary/Abstract: Many researchers have put the work environment in the spotlight, anticipating that a positive environment would be valuable for enhancing employee satisfaction, which motivates them to be more efficient. The purpose of this research was to test the relationship between the perception of work environment and job satisfaction in high schools in the Municipality of Prishtina. The survey included 154 teachers in these schools. The results obtained in this study, for each dimension of the work environment, were analyzed according to the relevant theoretical framework. From the empirical results, it was found that there is a correlation between work environment and job satisfaction. These results indicate that there are positive correlations of sets of relationship dimensions, personal growth / goal orientation, and system change / maintenance with job satisfaction.
