Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present the key features (elements) of the concept of trust in modern and post-modern society. Based on a review of selected literature on the subject from 1967-2018, models and definitions of trust were analyzed and an attempt was made to classify this concept. The study shows that social and civilization changes affect the way trust is defined.
