Summary/Abstract: The geopolitical context of the first parliamentary elections in Great Romania 1918-1919 is the result of the research undertaken at the National Archives of Romania. At the end of the research resulted a comprehensive documentary material that is the basis of the article resulting from the application of descriptive and analytical research methods. The historical study of the organization and of the first parliamentary elections in Greater Romania required a multi-level approach: social; political; administrative; military. The necessity and urgency of organizing the first parliamentary elections in Greater Romania was imposed by the DEMOCRATIC LEGITIMATION OF THE GREAT UNION. The information obtained argues and complements the momentum picture of the Romanian society at that time.
