Summary/Abstract: As far as the discipline that is called translation or translatology is concerned, we must accept that it is becoming more and more current, as well as its profiling and professionalization that in western countries there are specialized study up to the doctoral level for this sector. The work of translating texts of any field has always been developing during the course of human history, from the most ancient times until today. This field, just like today, has had its challenges, not unimportant whatsoever, sometimes to the extent that it encourages important debates and disagreements of a "hermeneutic" character and subsequently producing interpretations but also the solidification of those interpretations that have subsequently taken place and on which we have relied for periods or even for entire epochs. Therefore we should not be surprised when we come across volumes like "translation errors that have changed the world" by Romolo Giovanni Capuano, which describes 'incidents' as such for cases of mistranslation of the original texts into a language from another language, where things then take a whole different meaning or are even incorporated into some philosophical, literary, ideological and political initiative that in fact, has nothing in common or similar to what was written in the original or source text. Similar facts, but with the same translation errors, can still be found today, even in the mature or modern human society, that is, even in the era of digitalization.
