Summary/Abstract: Maritime transport is the oldest and cheapest way to transport people and goods. This significantly contributes to the development of trade, exchange of knowledge and ideas. Today, maritime transport plays a major role in the international transport of large volumes of cargo, such as bulk, liquid, general cargo, which includes the transport of goods in containers. The prospects are related to the use of combined transport and the development of safety systems.
