Summary/Abstract: The use of energy from sea and ocean waves is a very promising energy sector, as the potential of the world's oceans is virtually limitless. In this study, the different methods for producing energy from sea and ocean waves are analyzed. Emphasis is placed on the main types of power plants powered by sea waves, the converters of energy from sea waves, the technologies using different converters, the Technical and economic development of WEC systems.
