Summary/Abstract: The aim of this adhortation is to encourage teachers to put aside the already so often deeply rooted timidity to hand down spiritual values. In the sphere of music education, it is intended to higlight the effort in preserving traditional church music and liturgical songs for new generations. It introduces a newly established subject ,,Music Education and Sacred Music“ included in a new school educational programme at the Secondary Vocational Social School in Prague 2.
