Summary/Abstract: In the spirit of the development of new technologies, global changes and the frequent change of market demands, it is necessary to prepare students for the future, both through the development of certain and / or all competences and through the preparation for possible professions of the future. The paper presents an example of how third-grade elementary school students apply STEM, SGD and PBL learning through project activities, while developing most of their core competencies. With communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity and innovation, digital competencies, students spot changes in their environment, identify problems, find solutions, suggest future professions and present what they have done.
