Summary/Abstract: Modern society, a learning society, a knowledge society, is increasingly seeking to innovate and perfect all forms of work in order to improve and facilitate the development and upbringing of children, with the aim of facilitating school learning. The time we live in, information and communication technology, the strengthening of pluralism, decentralization and democratization require the school of the future for each student to maximize their creative potential. A new culture of teaching and learning should contribute to the development of active and responsible individuals who are open to change, motivated and empowered for lifelong learning. The modern crisis in society, moral and educational, must be restrained, and educational and spiritual values must be restored to save children and young people, as the sole pillar and guarantee of the future, because the future rests on human qualities and abilities, which sets the goal for modern school. education of capable, humanized and morally responsible people. In this paper we will present and elaborate on the role of individual educational factors in creating a school of the future in our region and reconciling its requirements with the time in which children and young people will be raised and lived. The main objective is to analyze and present the role and importance of the school principals' initiatives and activities in this field of activity. Since principals are at the forefront of educational institutions on their abilities and competences, the overall performance and its results in educational institutions depends. In this paper we will analyze the views of prominent pedagogical theorists and practitioners on this issue and offer some ideas that might find their application in educational work in the school of the future. We will place special emphasis on organizing family and school collaboration and the role and importance of the principal in that collaboration.
