The Antim Monastery in Bucharest during the time of the abbot Vasile Vasilache, in the light of some archival documents (1944-1948)

Summary/Abstract: In this study, new documents from the archive of the Antim Monastery in Bucharest, during the spiritual leadership of Archimandrite Vasile Vasilache (1944-1948), are published for thefirst time. These documents show us the administrative and spiritual effervescence of that time. Several reference works have been published on the efforts of the abbot Vasile and the life of the Antim Monastery; however, this study is valuable in that it presents previously unknown details that nuance and enrich those presented above.
