Summary/Abstract: This article focuses on examining the relationships between actors that contribute to the development of the healthcare system in India. The role of the state, non-governmental organizations, private health clinics, doctors and social entrepreneurship in solving the problems in healthcare is outlined. The author raises questions related to the need to increase corporate social responsibility, health culture of the population, social investments and innovations in the health sector.
