Summary/Abstract: So far, 106 small hydropower plants have been built in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), and at least 339 more are being prepared, presently at various stages of development. According to sources from investors themselves, the final number of mini hydropower plants (MHP) could be well over 600, meaning that at least one small hydroelectric power plant would be built on almost every BiH river and stream.
