Summary/Abstract: In the past few years, a lot of changes have been noticed in the view of the elderly – in media, social media or on the Internet etc. We would like to focus on the process of ageing, the changes that it brings and how it actually affects the people. Based on studies, we will mention the time when an adult becomes a senior and how is he or she seen in the eyes of family, but also what is the elderly’s outlook on the family nowadays. The common life of parents and children will also be looked into.
