Summary/Abstract: Genetic issues are the order of the day, due to national regulations some interpretable, some incomplete or even non existent. The problems are many and raise questions about the fundamental rights and freedoms of cifactizens. The connotations and implications of the right to life, the right to integrity, the right to dignity are not only legal, but also philosophical, sociological, etc. The whole course of the individual's life reveals genetic problems, from medically assisted reproduction, the status of the human embryo (is it a person or good?), To identity or gender differentiation (in the context of marriage and civil partnership institutions).
