Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the **sale, trafficking, and abduction of children from the perspective of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and Czech criminal law. It begins with the definition of a child and examines the criminal offense of child trafficking, including national and international adoption. The article also addresses the criminal offense of abduction and the legal assessment of cases where a child is abducted by one of the parents. In conclusion, it highlights other forms of child abuse, exploitation, and mistreatment, particularly child prostitution and pornography, in relation to the development of the Internet.
