Summary/Abstract: The article tells about the difficulties in promotion of the notion of social art in the Czech Republic, which are caused mainly by the negative connotation with similar notions in the past (socialist realism), virtually non-existent cultural education of the Czechs and their indifference towards all sorts of ‘provocations’.
