Summary/Abstract: Alumni represent a constantly available human resource for the university, with potential inputs in many areas of its interests and benefits. Therefore, we believe that alumni should be included into the university’s strategy regarding its Human Resources Management (HRM). Based on case studies research, from different universities in the world, regarding the university-alumni relationship advantages, the paper reveals the ways by which alumni resources should be capitalized through the university culture and its HRM activities, in a strategic approach.
