Summary/Abstract: This paper is an excerpt from extensive research that was conducted nationally in Romania, in May 2011 and it examines how the labor market is ready to integrate people with sensory or mobility deficiencies. Using the method of quantitative research, the technique of sociological survey, and the questionnaire as a research tool, the study envisaged the comparative analysis of opinions and experiences of a number of 1072 employers and 1310 employees or job seekers. The research is based on statistical data which shows that an extremely high percentage of these people are jobless and it discusses discrimination both from the perspective of people with disabilities and from that of employers.
