Summary/Abstract: In this paper the author highlights the benefits of the technology applied in the managementof immigration and the challenges that the competent authorities face using the computerizedsystems.Also, the advantages and disadvantages of the technology applied to monitor theimmigration are presented and analyzed, followed by the presentation of the author's point of viewand the conclusions following the research.
