Summary/Abstract: Many factors influence the individual’s behaviour and the resulting decision, which can influence their final decision not only stochastically but also systematically. The aim of the paper is to investigate the factors of willingness to volunteer. We assume that individuals are willing to voluntarily work, which is conditioned by certain factors. To verify the research assumptions are used the data obtained from the experimental survey. We processed the research outputs using relevant mathematical-statistical methods and evaluated the results. The willingness of individuals to engage in volunteering is influenced by conviction, the need to belong somewhere, a sense of well-being, commitments to society, fundraising methods, consideration, employee and information relationships, public sector, and personal contacts. The conceptual work with these factors by representatives of the township could contribute to develop the community initiatives and active participation of citizens in the public decision-making process.
