Summary/Abstract: I develop a conceptual framework based on a systematic and comprehensive literature review on burnout syndrome, clinically significant depression, and acute stress among medical personnel providing care to COVID-19 patients. Building my argument by drawing on data collected from APIC, BMA, Ginger, Statista, IPPR, Pew Research Center, UPMC, and YouGov, I performed analyses and made estimates regarding the psychological wellbeing of frontline healthcare workers during the COVID-19 outbreak. The data for this research were gathered via online survey questionnaires. Descriptive statistics of compiled data from the completed surveys were calculated when appropriate.
