Summary/Abstract: STEM is an educational plan based on the idea of educating students in four specific disciplines – science, technology, engineering and mathematics. STEM education uses interdisciplinary practical approach that deals with applications in real world. In the concept of STEM, the focus is clearly on education that is perceived as the substantial factor. More and more often, STEM is perceived as a complex of mutual implications between the mentioned areas. The main purpose of the concept is preparation of graduates of these subject areas, ensuring workforce in perspective areas. I tis not only about the subjects themselves.
