History, Historiography and Literary Criticism/Scholarship

Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on methodological penetration of various humanities and social sciences, mainly literary criticism and history. This penetration can lead to the enrichment of history and to contribute to methodological development. The author demonstrates this situation on the two examples – the two historical schools – school “Annales” and the so-called “State School of Russian Historiography”. He also shows that the cooperation of history and literary criticism can be very useful for the research of historiographic texts.
