Summary/Abstract: The paper presents a contemporary topic, although complex, but practically important, which should be as acceptable as possible in our country in the future, regardless of the fact that the e-government process is long, complicated and expensive. E-government is the future of progress public administration functioning. The mentioned topic is observed from the perspective of the e-government concept, its origin and development, the current situation, and the challenges and perspectives of e-government.
