Generalised aggregate indexes

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to discuss some general formulae of aggregated price indexes as well as to present their characteristics. Their generality is caused by the discretionary choose of weights for components as well as their parametrized form. The Author indicates that the well-known statistical indexes (Laspeyres, Paasche or Fisher indexes) are specific forms of general formulae. Theoretical considerations are illustrated by a sample indicating relations between discussed indexes.
