Summary/Abstract: The author presents his own data from paleoanthropological studies of the Varna Chalcolithic necropolis and Early Chalcolithic graves to Varna, which culminates in "Late Eneolithic Culture Varna". He found that osteoarthritic changes in the bones of the buried were scarce, and indicated the cult of the population to the Mediterranean molluscs Dentalium and Spondilus. Founded by Greek colonists in VI BC, the city of Odessos lasted nearly 1,200 years, while it was in the possession of the Greek colonists, the Roman Empire and Byzantium, at which, the medicine was on the rise. Because of this, medicine, including balneotherapy in Odessos, developed very intensively and reached its climax during the Roman rule, when they were built and work around 4 centuries. Roman baths, a unique balneological facility. In the last quarter of the 19th century thalassotherapy, heliotherapy and balneotherapy in Varna are developing rapidly and are invariantly invaded by the population.
