Summary/Abstract: This text offers the reader an assessment of recent technological „acquisitions” and the imminent media convergence of the performing arts in the age we all define as the „Covid 19 Era”. The paradigm of isolation and self-isolation of the spectator, as a witness and mediated filter of the aesthetic and empathic experiences of the public, as well as the break between the direct links of the cinema show with the movie theatre, leads to a reconfiguration of the cinema aesthetics, as we will see in the production entitled „9 Stories of Love and Hate in Isolation”, directed by Dan Chişu. The proposal to take this production as an example is based on the attempt to render in axiological terms the irremediable loss of the bridge between the actor and its receiver – the audience –, in a new informational paradigm, configured by the reality in which we live. This leads to a reconfiguration of the message of the oldest performing art (theatre), but also of the youngest one (film).
