Summary/Abstract: The text refers to the debates of the 10th All‑Poland Pedagogical Congress (organized in Warsaw by the Polish Pedagogical Association), and instigated by Lech Witkowski as part of the Special Symposium on the subject: The Heritage of Ideas and the Dramatic Fates of the Leading Figures of Polish Pedagogy in the 20th Century: History, Analysis, and Criticism of the Intergenerational Ties and Breaks-offs. The study is an attempt to show the possible impulses resulting from the duality paradigm for broadening the scope of modern health pedagogy. It also shows issues that arise, which are related to estimating the achievements of the past, determining the specifics of the generation, the content of the pedagogical archive, and duality visible today in health pedagogy.
