Summary/Abstract: The paper presents an overview of the occurrence of crisis events from natural processes and phenomena in our country. Official data from the National Statistical Institute covering the period 2010–2018 were researched. The results show that natural disasters are among the most common causes of crises. Over half of the reported crises of a natural origin are the result of floods.
