Summary/Abstract: This paper aims at showing the linguistic form of advice as a sub-directive genre ofspeech being used by Klementyna Tańska in her debut novel. The analysis carried out showedthe linguistic elements being used by the author to construct fictional advices and substantiated the relevance of choosing this speech genre as the one best serving the achievement of theobjective being set by the author to her novel.
