Summary/Abstract: The work deals with Raskolnikov’s offense, his fall into sin; with causes and consequences of such sin. In general, work deals with the nature of Dostoevsky’s anti-hero, in order to show that the suffering is one of the roads that leads a man to purification, to deliverance from the clutches of destructive passions, and that love is the only true meaning of all life.
