TQM Implementation Patterns

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present patterns for the implementation of TQM in organisations in the light of the experience of foreign enterprises. The main types of implementation models applied in Japan and the United States are identified. This is followed by a discussion of the classification of different implementation frameworks. References to ISO 9000 are given as one means of adopting TQM. Conclusions are drawn based on an analysis of the literature on TQM implementation patterns.
