Summary/Abstract: In this text, a golem and a doll are seen as basic subjects for analysis of femininity in contemporary Hispano-American literature. While golem always stays in power of his masculine predecessor, and who is also, mainly, masculine himself, in this text a doll is seen primarily as a model of feminine role. But a doll is also a symbol of female power, which gives her subversive role in regard with dominating cultural frames determining a given model of femininity.
