Summary/Abstract: Over the years, I have participated in several cultural and religious events dedicated to the great artist, usually held on March 16th or a day before at Polovragi and Lainici Monasteries, in Târgu-Jiu, etc. Also, “on August 22nd 2017 I was happy to live in Târgu-Jiu unforgettable moments. A merging between the new and the Romanian tradition, a beautiful page in the present history of Romania written by the beautiful people of Gorj – officials, cultural personalities, soldiers, priests, pupils etc., to commemorate the feminine symbol of Romania and Europe, the symbol of the supreme sacrifice – Ecaterina Teodoroiu, the heroine of Jiu”. In this beautiful summer day, on the occasion of Ecaterina Teodoroiu's Centennial – the heroine of Jiu, I was glad to go through “The Heroes‟ Path” – “The Path of the Romanian Nation's everlastingness”, as I like to call this sanctuary of the Romanian soul – from The Table of Silence to The Infinite Column, to ascend to this sacred place and to live in a purely Romanian atmosphere of remembrance and Christian worship of the liberating and enlightening ancestors of the Country.
