Summary/Abstract: Patriarch Abraham and the History of Salvation. Abraham's role in salvation history is staggering. Scripture presents him as the nation's and the chosen people founder, but also as a source of blessing to all nations. He is also the supreme example of the right and good human. Although he loves peace, while fighting for his principles, is generous in victory, devoted to his family, hospitable to strangers, his fellow state concerned, and above all, with fear of God and under divine command, being a profoundly human and realistic personality, always faithful in fulfilling God's instruction.
