AN INTERESTING MANUSCRIPT FOUND IN THE MONASTERY TISMANA’S LIBRARY. ARCHIMANDRITE GLICHERIE LOVIN

Summary/Abstract: At the end of the nineteenth century was born Glicherie Lovin, one of the superiors of the Tismana Monastery. He was superior here between 1931 and 1942, and in this period he rebuilt The Cioclovina Hermitage. In Tismana’s Library, I found a manuscript, written by Glicherie, in wich he present his life. The manuscript is important because it is a piece of Tismana’s history. Much more, from de content of the manuscript, we find very interesting aspects of life from the middle of the twentieth century. The manuscript also present some personalities of the orthodox church, such as: Efrem Enăcescu, Iulie Scriban, Ianuarie Popescu, etc.
