Summary/Abstract: The freshwater salmon is found worldwide. It’s a scientifically unique and economically important representative of the Ladoga Lake ihtiofauna. Recently its numeric strength has drastically reduced due to a long-term anthropogenic impact. As a result, the process of salmon natural reproduction was compromised. It should be noted that a large-scale salmon farming process has not yet reached its highest potential. The investigation results of the Ladoga landlocked salmon parasitofauna are presented in the article. We performed a comparative analysis of both Ladoga and Onego salmon parasitofauna, identified its most massive types, defined the level of both extensive and intensive invasions and, noted the differences in Atlantic salmon parasitofauna.
