Summary/Abstract: The assessment of the tourist traffic and factors diversifying it between Polish voivodships as well as in powiats of Podlaskie voivodship are the aims of the article. Nationwide, factors related to general development of the particular region play the increasing role. But in Podlaskie voivodship, the natural values are still the main reason of tourist arrivals.
