PIANO PROFESSORS AT THE CHISINAU STATE CONSERVATORY. REPRESENTATIVES OF FLORICA MUSICESCU’S SCHOOL

Summary/Abstract: Florica Musicescu began her teaching activity in 1921, when for the fi rst time, she, as a new young collaborator, joined thePiano Department of the Conservatory of Music and Dramatic Art in Bucharest. She immediately showed herself as a talentedteacher and indisputable creative leader. Already in the fi rst decade of her pedagogical activity, she laid the foundations of herown piano-performing school, which in the future trained a new generation of remarkable musicians. Th is article is dedicatedto the pianists T.Voitehovsky, V.Enchmen and N.Koteleva – disciples of the excellent Romanian pianist Florica Musicescu whoworked in the 50s – 70s of the 20th century at the General Piano Department of the Chişinau State Conservatory.
