Summary/Abstract: In my essay I follow the winding paths of Karl-Markus Gauß first through his flat, in order to subsequently inquire into his heart in a longer conversation about his travels, his working methods and his interest in Europe and marginalized ethnic groups. I mix a precise description and observation with excerpts from the conversation and poems and try to create an emphatic image of Karl-Markus Gauß.
