Summary/Abstract: Based on studies so far, the antonyms have drawn more work than other lexical andgenerally linguistic microsystems, such as homonyms, synonyms, polysynonyms. Usually, theantonymic words shed light on one another, making their meaning clearer. In this paper, wewill treat the antonymic verb and adverb pairs which have a wide use in the terminology ofthe Albanian language economy. Antonymic relations are, furthermore, importantappearances of the systemic character of the language.As characteristic cases of antonymic pairs in the terminology of the economy,specifically will be treated: bosh-plot (empty-full), duarbosh-duarplot (empty-handed-full-handed), herët-vonë (early-late), lirë-shtrenjtë (cheap-expensive), mbështjell-çmbështjell(wrap-unwrap), pjesërisht-krejtësisht (partially-completely), shtrenjtë-lirë (expensive-cheap),zbrazur-plot (empty-filled) (as characteristic cases of adverbs); bashkoj-veçoj (joint-disjoint),çrregulloj-rregulloj (deregulate-regulate), decentralizoj-centralizoj (decentralize-centralize),doganoj-zhdoganoj (customs-clear), humbas-fitoj (lose-earn), shpenzoj-kursej (spend-save) (as characteristic cases of verbs).
