Summary/Abstract: The idea of a Polish-Czechoslovak confederation was strongly supported by Lon-don in the initial stages of World War II. The differences in the attitude towards the Soviet Union proved to have been the most important obstacle to close Polish-Czechoslovak col-laboration.
